We first met Tom 18 years ago. 18 years, 2 homes, 2 kitchens, 3 bedrooms and a bathroom later we are still going back to Tom and his wonderful team for more!

Consultation, design, fitting and aftercare service are all top quaility. Maybe it’s nearly time for a new kitchen??

Hartigan Kitchens brought us from the 1970ʼs into the twenty-first century. Tomʼs bespoke design was a subtle blend of symmetry, functionality and practicality using storage baskets, a Le Mans unit and a series of eye-level storage cupboards painted in ʻpiano-keyʼ ivory to match black appliances.

We found Tom firm in his conviction of what best suited our space but nevertheless always willing to hear our ideas — resulting in a kitchen which, although installed in 2007 is still serving our needs exactly as we had wanted and which is much admired by all. If we were re-fitting tomorrow we would most definitely use Hartigan Kitchens.

Tom also designed and fitted glass fronted fireplace surround units finished in walnut for our sitting room —- fabulous.

Back a number of years ago we were carrying out major works at home, we built an extension etc. When it came to the kitchen we had a big dilemma, what and how.

When it came to the kitchen we had a big dilemma, what and how. We called into Hartigan Kitchens in Douglas and found sharing our thoughts on the kind of a kitchen we wanted turned quickly in to a drawing and all of a sudden we could see a well laid out kitchen on paper. With Tomʼs guidance and plenty of chat our kitchen became a reality.

Move on to 2014 and again we started some major works at home and of course the kitchen came into the picture. We were about to extend the square footage and the big question was how were we going to do this and keep the spend on kitchen units etc. to a minimum, the top quality build from before was still perfect and had to be part of the bigger kitchen area.

Two meetings with Tom at Hartigan Kitchens, and very advanced drawings and we saw all our own units being re organised and with a few additional units, a new counter top and now we have a kitchen area that is the most used room in the house, the kitchen is comfortable and a joy to work in, for us the layout is perfect. The entire family and all our friends love the result. We are very satisfied and very much enjoyed doing business with Tom at Hartigan Kitchens Douglas.

Tom and myself go back to my first kitchen 13 years ago, which was an absolute beauty. A few months ago I decided to change it, he redesigned parts of it to make larger cupboards. The second one is even nicer than the first one.

Tom has done wardrobes for me, loads of things, I wouldn’t use anyone else, and I just like Tom and Peter, they’re very easy to deal with. Good designs, very good workmanship.

Tom was excellent start to finish. It was everything we wanted, lots of ideas that we hadn’t thought of. The washing machine and tumble drier went into a custom press, we would never have thought it was possible.

He was brilliant. He relocated the cooker, used a vacant space next to the fridge. We didn’t even think it we could be this functional.

We would 100% recommend him. Anyone seeing the kitchen would agree. Tom was very relaxed, we ended up with exactly what we wanted. His ideas were brilliant.

Tom was extremely helpful, I needed a new kitchen it was extending into the living room, it was a total revamp of the back of the house. I asked him to design alcoves also, very happy with those, very happy with the end product.
